Island Tree Style is the tree service near you in Wailea. We work on South Maui properties every week. We know this climate, we know which trees fail here, and we show up on time. Call (808) 740-0488 for a free estimate.
Wailea sits in one of the driest stretches of South Maui, under 10 inches of rain per year. Heat, salt wind off the Pacific, and compacted soils put chronic stress on trees that have to be managed correctly or they decline fast.
Most properties here are high-value. A resort pool deck, a luxury lanai, a gated residential community there is no room for sloppy work or incomplete cleanup. That is why Wailea homeowners, HOAs, and property managers call Island Tree Style. We are licensed, insured, and we leave every site clean.
We provide customized quotes based on your specific tree care needs. Every property is unique, so we assess factors like tree size, location, complexity, and project scope to deliver accurate estimates with no hidden fees or surprises.
Tight lots, landscaped grounds, and proximity to pools and structures make tree removal in Wailea a technical job. We use rigging and sectional cutting to bring trees down safely without touching what is around them.
Services include:
Wailea’s dry season runs April through October. A professional tree trimming service before that window reduces wind resistance, removes deadwood before it becomes a hazard, and keeps canopies looking sharp on properties where appearance is part of the value.
Services include:
Coconut palms line resort walkways, pool decks, and ocean-view lanais throughout Wailea. A stressed or over-trimmed palm drops coconuts without warning onto areas where guests walk daily.
Island Tree Style uses spikeless palm trimming on every job. We climb with rope and saddle only, remove dead and browning fronds, manage fruit clusters for liability control, and leave the green canopy intact. This is the standard for any Wailea property where appearance and guest safety matter.
Services include:
Planting the wrong species in a leeward South Maui environment is an expensive mistake. Wailea’s heat, drought, and salt exposure eliminate most of what works elsewhere on the island. We guide property owners toward species proven to thrive here: wiliwili, kou, milo, and salt-tolerant palms suited to your site’s specific soil and light conditions.
Services include:
Drought stress, root conflict with hardscaping, and coconut drop liability are the three ongoing issues on most Wailea properties. Our residential tree service maintenance programs monitor health seasonally, catch problems before they become emergencies, and keep your property clear of risk year-round.

We customize service approaches based on your property’s specific location, environmental challenges, and your landscape goals.
Tree care across Wailea’s varied environments requires understanding both tropical horticulture and the island’s distinct microclimates. From sea-level coastal properties to 3,000+ foot Upcountry elevations, proper species selection, maintenance timing, and care techniques are essential for maintaining healthy, beautiful trees that thrive in their specific Maui location.
Professional tree care across the island accounts for location-specific challenges and environmental factors. Wailea’s diverse conditions—from dry leeward coasts to wet windward regions, from volcanic soil compositions to varying elevations—require expertise that ensures trees receive appropriate care regardless of where your property is located.
While some companies limit service to convenient areas, comprehensive island coverage offers several critical advantages:
Professional service throughout the island ensures consistent quality eliminating the need to search for local providers in underserved areas.
Understanding Wailea’s diverse environments allows proper care methods for each region’s unique challenges, from coastal salt management to Upcountry wind protection.
Island-wide service ensures the same professional standards, insurance coverage, and expertise regardless of your property’s location.
Comprehensive coverage means rapid storm damage response throughout Wailea, not just in high-population areas where other companies focus their services.
